Overhead Track Systems: 5 Layouts for your Facility
Ceiling track systems, like Solo-Step, are increasingly becoming a normality in physical therapy locations, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and even in homes for those who can no longer move on their own. Caretakers are investing more in overhead track and harness systems than alternatives such as mobile lifts. There are many benefits of installing an overhead track system in your facility, such as:
- Reduce/eliminate liability risks associated with falls
- Provide a safer environment for patients and physical therapists
- Increase patient productivity with a 1:1 therapist-to-patient treatment ratio
- Ability to implement a balance program within your facility
- Ability to help a variety of patient types (amputees, geriatric patients, pediatric patients, orthopedic patients, etc.)
Solo-Step offers a variety of track sizes, curved or straight, allowing you to customize your track layout depending on your facility’s space. Solo-Step’s aluminum track system is made from airplane-grade extruded aluminum and can hold patients up to 500 pounds!
